The Alliance for Technology Access (ATA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing technology information to people with disabilities. ATA was established in 1987 and consists of 38 resource centers nationwide that provide direct services to help people with disabilities explore computer hardware systems, adaptive devices, telecommunication services, and software. Technology vendors who belong to the alliance are dedicated to helping consumers obtain the most current information, best service, and quality products currently available. Materials include the ATA Resource Center list, ATA Vendor Member List, "Access Aware: Extending Your Reach to People with Disabilities" manual and "Computer and Web Resources for People With Disabilities" book.
